During his career, Steve has focused on creating a culture that was centered around clients, employees, and the local community. He has been a strong leader and advocate in his various endeavors, both in his personal and professional life. He is a Past President of NAIFA-North Dakota, and the 2020 NAIFA Advisor of the Year. In 2021, Advisor Today magazine honored Steve with the “40 Under 40” award, which recognizes the top 4 young financial advisors in the United States.
Steve is a 2008 graduate of North Dakota State University, where he studied business administration. He has been in the financial services industry for many years, during which he has served as a financial advisor, insurance agency manager, wealth strategy consultant, and is now the Vice President of Institutional Accounts and a Partner with E4 Insurance Services in Fargo, ND.
During his college years, Steve was a two-time All-Conference quarterback of the Division I North Dakota State University football team. He led that team to victory over Big Ten rival the University of Minnesota in 2007 and had a 20-2 record in his final two years. He lives in Fargo with his wife and two sons.
